Pick 3 and Pick 5 Numbers on Any Network: Offers Expired!

Not that it should be any surprise, but with the launch of the new 'Any Mobile, Anytime', Account Services no longer offers the Pick 3 or Pick 5 Numbers on Any Network plans for customers that are requesting to leave Sprint®.

  • With the Any Mobile, AnytimeSM offer, the Pick 3 or Pick 5 Numbers on Any Network retention offers are no longer needed.

  • Customers should not be transferred to Account Services with the intention of getting the Pick 3 or Pick 5 Numbers on Any Network offers.

If for some reason you still have a Pick 3 or Pick 5 and decide to not go to a new plan that includes Any Mobile, Anytime, then Customer Care can still modify your selected numbers, business as usual.

Labor Reduction Talking Points

As you’ve already heard by now, we’re going to be cutting just over 2K jobs by the end of next month. Here’s the public talking points, with more insight on them in the coming days….

Sprint Nextel announced on Nov. 9 that the company will eliminate 2,000 to 2,500 jobs.

    • The plan is to reduce annual internal and external labor costs by approximately $350 million.
    • Impacted employees will be identified in the coming weeks.
    • Workforce reductions will be spread across the company.
    • Most impacted employees will leave the company before year’s end.
    • The company pledges to retain a high standard of customer service.
  • Despite this announcement, we have a lot of momentum leading into 2010 and much progress of which we can be very proud, particularly in Customer Management.
  • We have now achieved seven consecutive quarters of improvement in customer satisfaction and first call resolution through the third quarter of 2009.
  • We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but we are on the right path to stem the tide of customer losses, regain our footing on revenue, and strengthen our brand.
