ReplyDeleteNY when.....or NJ.....when
ReplyDeleteSo does this mean lte launches live in dallas then? Or still "upcoming"
ReplyDeleteWill it be live in KC before the All Star Game this summer?
ReplyDeleteHope there was a typo and San Antonio is listed as one of those four cities and not Atlanta twice.
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know, these areas are already up and running LTE: DFW, Atlanta, Houston, San Antonio, Kansas City, and Baltimore. NYC and LA are imminent, Chicago is coming later this year along with DC. This is apparently news of the FORMAL launch, because LTE has been running in some of these places for months already.
ReplyDeleteWhen will we get it in Vegas?
ReplyDeleteSay Neo - Any idea on when Seattle is going to be lit up?
ReplyDeleteATL, whew!
ReplyDeleteI know Kansas City is up and running and it rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I live near Oak Park and work near the KU Med Center and have yet to see any 4G service, even for a brief period of time.
ReplyDeletewhen r we getting LTE in the Seattle, wa area??????
ReplyDeleteI want them to stay on schedule so Minneapolis will get it by years end. Please!
ReplyDeleteNYC and LA are not imminent. NYC and LA are so far away from being launched that Chicago and Boston will be deployed well before LA and NYC will. I am sure you must be getting your information from s4gru.com but the question is whether you are looking at the sponsor interactive maps because if you did, you would know that Chicago and Boston are well ahead of NYC and LA.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you seeing LTE in KC? I live in Blue Springs, work down the street from the Sprint campus on Nall, and am all over the rest of the city a lot. No LTE on my Evo yet :(
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any yet either. Sitting in Mission KS, just barely out of OP.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know where you are getting LTE.

ReplyDeleteExactly, when we'll get it Seattle? 3G is unusable on most spots with full bars.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm in Dallas and still get nothing. I've been to all major areas of Dallas, as well and can confirm this.
ReplyDeleteThey've spotted it running in SOME minor areas, but nothing big. Waiting for them to flip the big switch.
I live north by barry rd. no lte yet in kc north
ReplyDeleteI'm also in Downtown Houston and nothing.
ReplyDeleteThere's a tower that has been upgraded near my work in NYC. No LTE yet, but the 3G has a ping time under 50ms and even during peak hours I get 1mb/s downloads. It's amazing. I can't wait for all the towers to be updated. The tower next to my building one block over is scheduled for an upgrade in the next 6 months. 3G is very bearable if all 3G will be as good as the tower that was upgraded near my work.

ReplyDeleteNo text message here in Houston yet.... who knows if it will actually happen.
ReplyDeleteI have also been all around Houston looking for a connection and haven't gotten any except for midtown and by UofH but those have since been blocked again.
ReplyDeleteNo text msg yet in Atlanta either...
ReplyDeletewow.... did ISN just report false news?
ReplyDeleteor at least I posted what was in the portal.. haha. we'll see :)
ReplyDeletenot a chance :) LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope not because I'm so ready for lte since 3g sux big time!
ReplyDeleteanyone from houston, san antonio, dallas or atlanta received the text message? So far everyone has said they haven't received anything yet. Maybe it got delayed?
ReplyDeleteI've not gotten the text, but the network has been wonky all day. I know something is up, just waiting for them to flip the switch.
ReplyDeleteYup network in Houston really wacky today. From ehrpd to 1x to unknown to no service....all day.
ReplyDeleteok ISN, TIME TO DO SOME EXPLAININ.
ReplyDeleteI'm in houston and did not receive the supposed text message. I did however, notice that my sucky 3g connection would go up and down all day long. Somthing may be happening but at this point I have all these sprint articles that have cone and gone and will allow me to legally get out of this contract with no ETF!!
ReplyDeleteSo over it!!
I've not once gotten a ehrpd ever, but 3g was up ans down all day today!

ReplyDeletePeople, people...wake up and switch away from Sprint.....They have put the cart waaaaaaay before the horse on this one...selling lte phones and charging for "premium data" services long before having the network for it....It's going to be 2013 before Sprint cranks up this lte service and if you're one of the "lucky" new htc 4g lte phones owners, well, welcome back to 3g stone age.....At&t and Verizon already have this network up and going offering some great service along with some great phones.... I switched after 12 years with Sprint even while some of my contract remaining....I just wanted the service (lte) that sprint's been promising for a long time...and once you get away from one of those major cities that will have it by "2013", again back to the 3g stone age...lol....
ReplyDeleteThe ATT lte service is awesome... you will love the speeds... It's sad...but Sprint just sucks!!!
That's great.. Now go away!
ReplyDeleteLmao!!!
ReplyDeleteNo Txt in DFW yet...
ReplyDeleteNope. I'm in Houston and we're not up and running on LTE. I called Sprint and they can't even give me a date when they WILL be up on LTE in Houston. :-( And my new Evo LTE phone at 100 kb speeds...not worth it. It's awesome when on wifi, but otherwise, my old EVO 4G was better.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteI'm in San Antonio and I've had the EVO LTE for about 20 days now... any idea when LTE will be turned on here? I get horrible 3G speeds when I'm at work that drain the battery cause its looking for a signal. BTW I'm in the SeaWorld area
