Sprint to offer SQUARE mobile credit card reader

Customers can now accept credit card payments on their Android device or iPhone with the Square Mobile Credit Card Reader accessory. Customers can add a tip, sign with their finger, and receive an electronic receipt via text or email. With affordable rates and lightning fast direct deposits, Square saves them money and gets them paid sooner. Customers can also review their sales history and resend receipts or issue refunds.

  1. It's a nice system. My fiance uses Square to sell her artwork at conventions and shows. Quick, easy, and if you buy in store you'll get a $10 credit. Also, if she read it to me right, if you sign up online you don't have to pay the $9.99 for the unit, they'll send you one instead of the $10.

  2. I love Square, but I don't really understand the point of this. Does it mean Sprint stores will be selling Square readers? I know they announced Staples will be selling the readers. It that basically what Sprint will be doing? It's not like it didn't work on Sprint phones previously or something.

  3. there will be a partner site for consumers to order via sprint branding - and the business care division will be integrating them for their solutions packages for small businesses. They previously used AirCharge and couple more.
